03:42 cbxbiker61 i was just poking around openbenchmarking.org to compare Intel's $1000 top dog to the FX-8350...
03:42 cbxbiker61 [20:40] interesting that the i7 990x can only do x264 at 129fps when the [email protected] can do 170
03:42 cbxbiker61 [20:41] FX-8350 with the right kind of workloads kicks butt.

16:21 dxtr ?
19:36 rabeeh dxtr: two ports 1A
19:46 yawniek i'm using archlinux hardfloat, whats the best option for display driver atm?
19:46 koboldmaki how could you test the hardware crypto feature (mv_cesa)? commandline? aes?
19:52 N30N yawniek: xf86-video-dove package
19:53 yawniek thx
21:20 yawniek hmm seems like my samsung 1980x1200 isnt recognized under xorg correctly. whats the relation between the resolution in boot.src and the one in xorg.conf, do they need to be the same?
21:39 N30N yawniek: Nope. You should just need to edit the PreferredMode line in xorg.conf
21:40 N30N yawniek: you mean 1920x1200 right? Don't think 1980x1200 is supported
22:14 Punkley_Chillin yawniek i had that issue too, I told it to PreferredMode 1980x1080
23:22 yawniek N30N: 1920 yes, typo
23:22 yawniek Punkley_Chillin: ok lets see. reinstalled everything. also trying to boot from sata now
23:49 yawniek its weird, somehow i dont get anything on the screen, also trying with Option "PreferredMode" "1280x720" and two different displays
23:49 yawniek but no obvious error in xorg log
23:50 yawniek using rabxorg.conf
