08:15 | jnettlet | dv_, I am pushing the gstreamer, ipplib, and libvmeta libraries later today. galcore should follow closely behind. |
17:29 | alex-shpilkin | with the rabeeh's XBMC branch untouched for more than a year and not merged into mainline, I wonder what's the state of hardware video decoding on the CuBox? |
17:32 | alex-shpilkin | (I've been trying to find some recent info for about an hour with no success, so it's not obvious, is it?) |
17:46 | Vegar | alex-shpilkin: you could try asking the geexbox guys (or rabee himself, since he just joined) |
18:05 | dv505 | alex-shpilkin: all geexbox patches for XBMC are here: http://hg.openbricks.org/openbricks/file/default/config/platforms/arm/armada5xx/packages/xbmc/patches |
18:30 | dv_ | alex-shpilkin: you mean, hardware decoding in XBMC? or generally? |
21:46 | ujee | Hi rabeeh, I just learned about http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/435742530/udoo-android-linux-arduino-in-a-tiny-single-board. The Quad version is not far from half the price of Sabre Lite, the only downside seems to be missing PCIe microscopic header (+ there is an arduino on the board as a bonus) |
21:47 | ujee | PS: I think I finally managed to find some entry-level documentation via the freescale forums (https://community.freescale.com/search.jspa?q=mx6%20sabre) |
