16:10 | rabeeh | cbxbiker61: looking around there isn't u-boot support to f2fs - right? |
16:10 | rabeeh | btw - i'm impressed with the numbers you have posted |
18:22 | jnettlet | TrevorH1, there is red sleeve linux which is a softfp compiled version of RHEL. The big hold back right now is that the hardfp toolchains didn't get integrated until very recently so they won't be available to do a build until RHEL 7 |
18:23 | jnettlet | just as debian found out. The problem with being very stable is that staying up to date is very difficult. |
18:24 | TrevorH1 | jnettlet: thanks, that is interesting though softfp is not much use :( |
18:25 | TrevorH1 | and el7 is a long way off yet |
21:29 | cbxbiker61 | rabeeh, no there isn't support for u-boot yet, i've looked at the uboot filesystem code a bit, but haven't dug in enough to figure out how to add f2fs |
21:31 | cbxbiker61 | it's not critical to have f2fs support in u-boot (although it would be nice), i've just accepted i have to use an ext2 for /boot |
21:32 | cbxbiker61 | i'm sure someone will get around to getting f2fs in u-boot, since it's really a perfect match for a lot of arm based hardware |
