02:29 | Emileigh | is there anyone here who can answer a couple of noob questions? |
02:49 | mhoney | maybe |
12:28 | davorin | radxa boards arrived finally... |
12:56 | davorin | incredible performance for a quad-core 1.6ghz cpu... |
12:56 | davorin | 3 - 10fps 1080p playback (o; |
13:18 | jnettlet | wow radxa goes to great lengths to never name Rockchip as the SOC they use. |
13:47 | davorin | jnettlet: you received all som-i models? |
13:47 | jnettlet | davorin, solo, dual-lite and quad |
13:47 | davorin | my som-i2 and i2u didn't arrive yesterday...so i took a module from cbi-2u |
13:47 | davorin | but showed same mmc error during boot |
13:48 | davorin | ah, so no som-i2u |
13:48 | jnettlet | nope |
13:48 | davorin | uboot tried to load the q dts for the i2u |
13:48 | davorin | maybe it is the default setting when it couldn't recognize the platform.. |
13:50 | jnettlet | that is correct. the only difference between the i2u and i4 is number of cores |
13:50 | jnettlet | so you load the dts with the larger number of cores and let Linux figure out how many to enable |
13:50 | jnettlet | similar to how we use the imx6dl prefix for the solo variant |
13:50 | davorin | ah okay...saw that in the boot messages |
13:51 | davori | 13:51 * davorin davorin_shopping |
13:51 | davori | 13:51 * davorin needs a new coffee machine (o; |
13:51 | davorin | back in 30 minutes... |
15:07 | davorin | hmm...so far not convinced selling this radxa stuff |
18:19 | zuse | i want to mount my LVM partitioned 3TByte harddisc on my cubox-i with latest geexbox snapshot. lvm is available in the kernel, the lvm program as well. But the program throws an error: Failure to communicate with kernel device-mapper driver. Check that device-mapper is available in the kernel. apparently the module dm_mod is missing in the kernel. Where is the best place to report? |
18:22 | davorin | geexbox forum? |
18:23 | davorin | or you compile your own kernel then... |
