00:07 lapixelerie Hello ! Please can i have some help ? SInce 6 month i try to use Cubox-i4 with DVI Screen but impossible
00:08 lapixelerie I would like to make a small desktop computer with Debian, igorpecovnik version
00:26 lapixelerie system boot, but show three tux ...
00:53 lapixelerie euh, four linux in top of screen
01:06 iteratee lapixelerie: How do you have it hooked up to DVI?
01:06 iteratee Does the red light come on, what image are you running?
01:07 lapixelerie hdmi -> dvi cable
01:07 iteratee Should work.
01:07 iteratee What image are you running?
01:07 lapixelerie red light ok, image from igorpecovnik, last kernel
01:08 lapixelerie four tux in top of screen
01:08 iteratee I got mine working with the solid-run image with the latest 3.14 kernel
01:09 Humpelstilzchen iteratee: have you tried to turn your monitor off and on after boot?
01:09 lapixelerie iteratee: where do you find this image ?
01:10 lapixelerie what ? turn on monitor after boot ?
01:10 lapixelerie but why tux is appear ? ;-)
01:26 iteratee http://www.solid-run.com/support/downloads/
01:28 iteratee I followed the instructions here: http://www.solid-run.com/wiki/Building_the_kernel_and_u-boot_for_the_CuBox-i_and_the_HummingBoard
01:28 iteratee to build a kernel. It's not super clear on how to install the new kernel.
01:28 iteratee You just remove the old one from the fat partition on the sd card and put the new one and the dtb files in the same directory.
01:29 Humpelstilzchen iteratee: still no picture after turning off the monitor?
01:30 iteratee Humpelstilzchen: I only tested my box briefly with a display.
01:30 iteratee I'm not the one trying to get it to work.
01:31 Humpelstilzchen ups right, I probably should get to bed...
01:32 Humpelstilzchen lapixelerie: see above
01:33 lapixelerie i read thanks
01:33 lapixelerie but igorpecovnik is not the last kernel ?
01:34 iteratee I don't know.
01:34 lapixelerie http://www.igorpecovnik.com/2014/08/19/cubox-i-hummingboard-debian-sd-image/
01:36 iteratee I would try the supplied image first.
01:37 lapixelerie ok, i will try tomorrow... and if it doesn't work i purchase a HDMI screen
