14:33 topi` jnettlet: OK, so I'll hunt for signals on the ttymxc2 :) I think I already tried it as well, but it might well be that I didn't e.g. check if all the leads were actually connecting
14:33 topi` with a multimeter
14:34 topi` jnettlet: wasn't it so that in the old images for HB1, the ttymxc2 was used for the BT uart?
14:34 jnettlet topi`, uart2, which would be ttymxc1
14:34 jnettlet one of those annoying device-tree things
14:43 topi` ok
17:20 Artox just a quick question so I dont destroy anything
17:20 Artox can I safely put a SoM with only 2 connectors on a HB2?
17:21 jnettlet Artox, yes, but it won't work properly. You can add it, but will then need to manually specify the .dtb file to use. Some of the board functionality won't work.
17:25 Artox what dtb would I manually choose then?
17:25 Artox still hb2 one?
17:27 jnettlet yes
17:27 Artox okay, thanks
17:59 dgilmore jnettlet: how bad would it be to use a clearfog without a heatsink?
19:22 jnettlet dgilmore, depends what you are doing.
19:23 jnettlet Permanently I wouldn't recommend it but for light testing should be fine
19:37 dgilmore jnettlet: okay. I have one heatsink for the two clearfogs
19:37 Exag 19:37 * Exaga waits patiently for the clearfog
19:37 dgilmore jnettlet: what screw is needed for the m.2 connector?
19:38 Exaga dgilmore: same one as in your brothers laptop ;)
19:39 dgilmore Exaga: if only I had a brother
19:40 Exaga dgilmore: it was just a thought :D
19:40 dgilmore Exaga: :)
19:42 jnettlet I believe m2.5
19:43 Exaga 2.5mm metric thread
19:43 jnettlet There are plenty of clearfog devices. It is the heatsinks that are back ordered.
19:43 Exaga jnettlet: the clearfogs are shipped without heatsinks?
19:43 jnettlet Nope, with. They are back ordered which is holding up our shipments
19:44 Exaga jnettlet: damn
19:44 jnettlet dgilmore will get another heatsink shipped separately
19:44 dgilmore jnettlet: cheers
20:18 vpeter Can someone confirm if running this http://wiki.solid-run.com/doku.php?id=products:imx6:microsom:imx6-fuse will write correct fuse to HummingBoard to boot from SD card?
20:21 jnettlet It will
20:23 jnettlet vpeter, I thought your friend wanted to boot from emmc
20:23 dgilmore jnettlet: http://paste.fedoraproject.org/310925/45279939/
20:24 jnettlet dgilmore, excellent!
20:25 dgilmore jnettlet: thats using fedora's kernel and making a dtb from the patches rmk has submitted for upstream
20:25 dgilmore jnettlet: the u-boot is whats going upstream with a patch I need to send it to support the generic distro boot framework
20:26 dgilmore I am going to push the fedora kernel maintainers to pull in the dtb patches
20:26 jnettlet Great thanks
20:27 jnettlet Is Fedora going to support docker containers on ARM32 since it is working upstream now?
20:29 dgilmore jnettlet: we have supported them for awhile
20:29 dgilmore though I build the base image at home on the side
20:29 dgilmore I am working to make the base image part of the fedora deliverables for f24
20:30 jnettlet Let us know if there is anything else we can do
20:30 dgilmore we have had docker building on arm32 for quite awhile now
20:30 jnettlet I want this to trickle back to CentOS 7.1 if possible
20:31 dgilmore :) understandable
20:31 dgilmore they are taking alot of things we do in fedora and rebuild them
20:31 jnettlet Exactly
20:49 vpeter jnettlet: Yes it was. But after your indication that this should not be done he change the idea.
20:56 jnettlet Not that it shouldn't be done. I just think that sdhc cards are cheap and as long as you aren't writing to thank a lot they make a convenient recovery path
21:00 vpeter Yes, that's why he change the mind. I think it would be nice if this reasons would be written somewhere on wiki. Then he would not even bough unburned som.
21:04 jnettlet Sure good timing. malte is working on the wiki
21:10 vpeter malte_: Perfect. Tomorrow is D day.
21:33 jnettlet Heatsinks will be back in stock in 2 weeks. Sorry about the delays
