07:13 maniac mornin'
09:05 vpeter jnettlet: I got it working. But still need to understand few things to understand how it works.
09:11 jnettlet vpeter, what are the things you need to understand?
09:17 vpeter Seems I need to enable XHC1 /proc/acpi/wakeup manually for suspending working. But need to check again this today. Maybe I was doing something wrong yesterday :)
09:24 jnettlet vpeter, okay let me know. If that is something read from the acpi tables then I will add it to the list of changes for the next BIOS rev
09:27 vpeter Will do.
09:43 topi` what, linux-fscl is at 4.1.36???
09:43 topi` https://github.com/Freescale/linux-fslc
09:44 topi` does this work on the Hummingboard as well?
09:45 topi` umm, 4.1.38 states the Makefile
11:14 maniac jnettlet: maybe you recall my question regarding Cubox 4x4 uboot and SPL - so i have used the one from .deb file you've provided to me and i can confirm it works! i had to copy zImage, uEnv.txt and imx6q-cubox-i.dtb files directly into the / but it then boots fine and can see all 4GB of RAM -> THANK YOU!
11:15 maniac jnettlet: ArchLinuxARM is using mainline uboot 2017-01 which has no support for 2GB of RAM, i have also tried 2017-03rc but it still shows MAX of 2GB RAM. Do you know if there are plans to include 4GB support into the mainline in the future?
11:20 vpeter jnettlet: If I have for linux kernel CONFIG_GPIO_SYSFS=y is it possible somehow to hide access to gpio's? On solidpc.
12:42 jnettlet maniac, I am working on a set of upstream patches to fix this. There are also still existing bugs in upstream that I have fixed in our repo. For instance there is a bug where u-boot will hang constantly looping if you have HDMI plugged in.
12:43 jnettlet vpeter, I am not quite sure what you mean. Hide them from sysfs? Not from root, no.
12:43 jnettlet I guess if we altered the ACPI tables they could be removed.
13:02 vpeter I need them to flash firmware to stm32 microcontroller. So can't be removed (just hide). But not really important: users will not mess with it anyway.
13:26 maniac jnettlet: cool, looking forward to have it included in the mainline and thanks for the mentioning of the HDMI loop bug - i was probably lucky it did not happen to me, but will keep it in mind in case uboot would hang.
13:51 jnettlet maniac, yeah the device just seems dead. if that happens just power cycle it
14:07 heap_ its happening only on cubox.. im running oe on other x86 device and it works fine there.
14:07 heap_ after a 10hours of oe idling
14:08 heap_ if i restart the cubox i can ssh in ... and it says Server refused to allocate pty
14:08 heap_ server refused to allocate pty .... after idling ...
16:02 jnettlet topi`, I am working a 4.4 branch for our devices as the next revision. Moving the 4.1 patchset forward. 4.1 still requires a lot of backports that I want to skip...would rather forward port the NXP bsp.
17:04 vpeter jnettlet: who sets enabled/disabled in /proc/acpi/wakeup?
18:33 jnettlet vpeter, the bios sets those. It is responsible for generating the ACPI tables that are passed to the kernel.
18:41 vpeter I see. Why are different values when running ubuntu or libreelec?
21:47 vpeter jnettlet: Does it matter if sd cards have partitions start with N*4MB offset?
21:51 vpeter or can be 1MB
